Position descriptions:
The Job Captain/Intern Architect will be beyond entry level with 3 to 5 years experience with a NAAB degree in Architecture or equivalent. Architect license not required. Candidate should be able to prepare presentation drawings, design development and construction documents with guidance from Architect. Must have substantial knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2008, Revit 2008, hand drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, and construction. Experience with the following project types is desirable: municipal, commercial, education, and healthcare.
The Project Architect will have 5 to 10 years experience, licensed with a NAAB degree in architecture or equivalent. Develops solutions to clients project scope. Has responsibility for preparing presentation, design, and production documents. Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD 2006/2008, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project. Preferable to have knowledge in Revit 2008, Architectural Desktop, Sketch-Up, or any 3D/BIM modeling program. Coordinates all sub-consultants and agencies related to building design while monitoring drawings, project budget, and schedule. Experience with the following project types is desirable: municipal, commercial, education, and healthcare.
